Jan 2, 2006: Four members went birding Monday, January 2, in Jones County. Highlights of our trip included a Burrowing Owl, Lark Buntings, and Brewer’s Blackbirds.

At Lake Hamlin we saw Sora, Marsh Wren, Swamp Sparrow, Song Sparrow, and Common Yellowthroat. A Golden-crowned Kinglet was discovered at Johnson Park around Lake Fort Phantom.
