The first sighting of the Black-capped Vireo at Cedar Gap Farm was May 1, 2007, by Kathy Hampton and me. I heard a familiar song and excitedly went to work locating what I knew to be Black-capped Vireo. The vireo cooperated long enough for me to take a couple of diagnostic pictures. The female vireo was deep inside the bush; she wasn't as cooperative as the male so I didn't get any photos of her. (c) LgPacker
