Merlin

This little Merlin was at the southwest end of the lake in a mesquite snag. Lorie spotted him when he was harassing a Yellowlegs. She thinks he was intent on doing some more hunting. While staying in the vehicle and photographing through the window, the Merlin let Lorie get pretty close. ©Lorie Black
