Coyote Meal

This coyote was seen December 30, 2006, on Dyess AFB during Christmas Bird Count. It was one of a pack of three hunting for food. The cottontail isn’t dead yet. Its hind legs are still contracted which means the coyote must have just caught it. (c) Jay Packer
