Sandhill Cranes

Seen coming in to roost on the south end of Lake Ft. Phantom, January 27, 2007, Hamlin field trip. Hundreds of sandhills are seen every evening during winter coming in to roost around the lake. It is a spectacular sight and a delight to hear their chortling. (c) LgPacker
