Swainson's Chick Hatches

The pair of Swainson's at Mesquite Grove Golf Course successfully hatched a chick on May 22, 2008. The white downy stuff in the photo is from the chick. Four days later nothing was in the nest. Either a predator raided the nest or one of those nasty thunderstorms blew everything out. © LgPacker
