Brown Pelican

The Brown Pelican is found near salt water, especially the Gulf of Mexico. They fly over the water to spot their prey and then plunge-dive to catch it. After making a catch, a pelican drains water from its pouch before swallowing the fish. (Please note: Brown Pelicans are not found in the Big Country.)(Photo by JAEnglish)
