Golden-crowned Sparrow

This Golden-crowned Sparrow was found December 15, 2007, during the Midland Naturalists CBC near Robert Lee. They breed in the Yukon, Alaska, British Columbia and their normal wintering range is along the Pacific Coast from Washington State to Northern Baja. So yes, this is a rare bird in our area of West Texas. © Erik Breden
