Lark Bunting

Lark Buntings winter in the Big Country. They breed in the Great Plains from the Texas panhandle north to the high plains of Saskatchewan. Males are solid black with white wing coverts in breeding plumage. This bird is a male, as indicated by the black around the bill. © LgPacker
