Northern Harrier

Whenever Northern Harriers have scored a hit (caught their prey), they perch on the ground momentarily to eat. Their facial markings are more similar to an owl than a hawk. Harriers winter in the Big Country. (Photographed at Dyess AFB, LgPacker)
