Indigo Bunting Visits Urban Feeders

A couple of BCAS members in NE Abilene had the good fortune of seeing Indigo and Painted Bunting at their feeders! Note the subtle differences between this Indigo and Blue Grosbeak. The Blue Grosbeak has a chestnut patch on the wing and its bill is about twice the thickness of an Indigo's bill.
